Jeff Grissom
Director of Specialty Construction
Jeff, a former U.S. Army Military Policeman, has been in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years. Jeff first began his career with Comcast (now Xfinity) as a technician and quickly progressed into a maintenance tech role. After just 2 years, his management team promoted Jeff to the role of Construction Coordinator. Jeff managed numerous projects from fiber to coaxial aerial and underground builds, controlling all budgets and forecasts for the area. He was promoted to Tech Supervisor and then to Regional Construction Manager.
In 2013, Jeff joined Crown Castle, the nation’s largest cell tower owner, as a Field Manager, supervising maintenance on over 380 cell towers, from road remediations to new site builds. He was promoted to Construction Manager within one year of joining Crown Castle and quickly recognized as a great manager, further promoted to East Area Asset Manager, controlling all capital expenditures for the area. After joining Mastec in 2017, Jeff served as the Project Manager over Structural Modifications, overseeing new site builds, modifications, and foundation upgrades. In April 2020, Jeff secured the promotion to Market Director for Betacom in the Mobile/New Orleans market.
Jeff was brought on to Standard Wireless Group in February 2021 as the Director of Specialty Construction. In this role, Jeff oversees structural modifications, foundation modifications, decommissioning, specialized maintenance, and anything else the company requires. Jeff is an excellent communicator and manager of projects, whether small, large, or gigantic.
